Radiolabs Consortium

RadioLabs is a non-profit public-private research consortium between Universities of Roma Tor Vergata, Roma TRE, L’Aquila and Hitachi Rail STS, WestPole with the mission to contribute on Applied Research, Innovation, and Knowledge Transfer. Radiolabs is specialized on high integrity positioning – connectivity – cybersecurity for trains and autonomous cars. His staff includes 10 people (most with PhD and Master degree) and 4 managers from consortium’s members. Other 23 researchers are in the laboratories at the universities. Since 2012 Radiolabs is working on H2020 projects (7 in total, 3 as coordinator) and ESA (7 in total, 2 as coordinator). By 2018 Radiolabs is leading EMERGE - a strategic project of Ministry of Economical Development for autonomous cars with FCA-CRF and other partners
