SONACA is a Belgian company with a global footprint (Brazil, Canada, USA, Romania, Germany and China) and with a turnover of US$ 800 million, employing  4000 people around the world. The core business of Sonaca consists of the design, development, manufacturing, assembly and testing of aerospace structures, and their associate systems.
The activities cover civil aircraft, Defense and Space applications. Today, civil aircraft programs represent more than 90% of the turnover. Sonaca’s portfolio of aeronautical customers includes AIRBUS, EMBRAER, BOMBARDIER and DASSAULT for whom the company develops and delivers wing control surfaces of all kind (leading-edge slats, trailing-edge flaps and other wing movable surfaces) but also fuselage and structure parts.
