Formed in March 2015 and based in London, Taylor Airey Limited specialises in consultancy and project delivery in the transport sector, specialising in the rail, aviation and maritime modes. This exciting business venture was created by experienced consultants Phil Taylor and James Airey and our work in the maritime sector is led by Dr Mike Fairbanks. Taylor Airey has extensive experience of working closely with our whole range of clients, including maritime, to develop strategies, formulate implementation plans and assess business cases, especially relating to resilient positioning, navigation and timing (RPNT). More broadly we have supported the development, standardisation, implementation and operation of new, mainly satellite-based, aids to navigation systems within the context of the International Maritime Organization’s e-Navigation concept. In addition, Mike Fairbanks was a founder member and first Chairman of the European Maritime Radionavigation Forum (EMRF).
