The scope of this project is to demonstrate the value of frequent analysis of the road environment to enable proactive maintenance decisions. To achieve value from frequent data analysis at scale multiple activities must be undertaken including the re-identification based on accurate real-world location estimates, GNSS location noise reduction, and efficient management of edge computing.  By expanding to continuous monitoring (with re-identifications and tracking), it will be possible to better utilize the data for daily operations and manage ongoing tasks distributed to municipality employees and external partners. In other words, the solution will become more capable in supporting a future with more sustainable and well-maintained critical infrastructure.
