GLF solution is a GNSS technology downstream application (PNT User Segment) for precise positioning of football players during a match, representing an effective and innovative value-added tool for real time football performance monitoring. Without the installation of infrastructures in the stadium, the GLF device will allow calculation of “live” metrics to be used by the football team technical staff for the tactical analysis of the match with accurate positioning, geo-localization of players and real-time data collection and processing. Accurate PVT of each wearable GNSS device will be calculated by using differential corrections provided by a GNSS reference station; the PVT will be then transferred to a cloud server. The SW will be able to select the differential correction to be used among available commercial services or a reference station provided by GLF.
