Politecnico di Milano (PoliMi) has more than 1300 professors and research fellows, employed in research activities at international level. PoliMi is the first Italian university entering the QS World University Rankings among the top 10 technical universities worldwide.

The CAMALIOT project will see the Department of Aerospace Science and Technology and the Dipartimento di Elettronica, Informazione e Bioingegneria working together. The PoliMi team comprises of Prof. Camilla Colombo, Prof. Pierluca Lanzi, Eng. Marco Nugnes and Eng. Alessandro Masat. Their expertise is on orbital mechanics and control, mission analysis of satellites constellations, small satellites, space debris and mission to asteroids, machine learning and evolutionary computation with a focus on the application of reinforcement learning, data analytics and data-driven game design.
