National Technical University of Athens (NTUA)
The National Technical University of Athens (NTUA) is the oldest educational technical institution of Greece founded in 1837. Throughout its long-standing history it has played a central role in the country’s pre-war development and post-war reconstruction. Nowadays, it operates with nine academic schools aiming at providing advanced higher education, promoting scientific research and contributing to the global production of new technological knowledge. NTUA has more than 400 faculty members and over 800 staff members servicing more than 20.000 students and researchers. CLARITY project will be undertaken by the School of Rural, Surveying and Geoinformatics Engineering (SRSE-GE), Laboratory of Geodesy / Dionysos Satellite Observatory. Research in satellite geodesy and high accuracy positioning has been a focal activity point of SRSE-GE since the mid past century featuring a great number of international collaborations in a wide spectrum of theoretical and applied research topics.
