University Ulm

The University of Ulm is represented by the Institute of Quantum Optics, which focuses on quantum technologies based on NV centres in diamond, including quantum sensing.

The team at Ulm University has extensive experience in the development of protocols for diamond magnetometry, including coherent control and the combination of machine learning and quantum sensing. A team from the University of Ulm was involved in the DLR QASIMODO project, which aims to develop quantum diamond sensors for space applications.
