The ITIS GmbH is a wholly owned subsidiary of ITIS e.V.. The Institute of Technology for Intelligent Systems (ITIS) is a recognized affiliated institute of the University of the Bundeswehr Munich. It was established in 1993 as an association by professors at the university with the aim of promoting science, teaching, and studies in the broad field of intelligent systems technology. The institute's applied research projects (departmental and contract research) are carried out by ITIS GmbH.
