f. u. n. k.e. AVIONICS (FAV) is an EASA approved production and maintenance organisation (EASA Part 21G and Part 145). FAV develops, produces and sells avionics equipment and avionics system solutions for communication, navigation and enhanced situation awareness. For the General Aviation market, the company offers the product lines TRT800 (Mode S transponder) and ATR833 (VHF voice radios) and for ground-based radio communication the FSG product familiy. The products are distributed to aircraft manufacturers (OEM) and to aircraft operators or private pilots via an avionics specialized dealer network all over Europe (After Market). FAV also develops avionics equipment and systems solutions for major aerospace companies such as Airbus, Lufthansa Technik and ThalesAlenia Space as well as for public entities such as Eurocontrol or the European Space Agency (ESA). FAV also conducts projects for various aerospace customers. This includes the management and implementation of turnkey projects based on specific customer requirements. Our projects cover the whole life cycle of special projects including the design, development and production of hardware or software as well as maintenance and operational support. All activities are in line with our quality management system certified to EN9100:2028, DIN EN ISO 9001:2015, EASA-APDOA, EASA-Part 21G, EASA-Part 145 and according to the standards e.g. ECSS, D0178, D0254 and DO-260. FAV's quality management system is by nature subject to constant internal and external controls, e.g. through the audits of our customers. Due to the products and customers, the focus is thereby placed on the processes of equipment and software development, equipment production, the configuration management for the development and production documents and gaplesstraceability.
