Register for the Final Presentation of the NAVISP EL1 046 Project: “Combining ELF signals with GNSS for improved PNT”
The Consortium led by GMV and conformed by GMV and RHEATECH has investigated novel and innovate concepts towards the development of a robust and reliable PNT concept based on Extremely Low Frequency (ELF), Very Low Frequency (VLF) and Low Frequency (LF) techniques, able to complement GNSS-based services and to provide and alternative in the event of a GNSS outage or service disruption.
The activity has been focused on the selection of a techniques on a base of use cases and targeted Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) and the development, testing and evaluation of the benefits that such technique can provide complementing GNSS-based services and their best metrics working standalone, finishing with the development and testing of a proof-of-concept tested in the field.
EL1-046 “Combining ELF signals with GNSS for improved PNT” was funded by NAVISP Element 1, which is dedicated to technology innovation of the European industry in the wide PNT sector.
