Belgian National Positioning, Navigation and Timing (PNT) Workshop

PNT – Positioning, Navigation and Timing – plays an essential role in our society. Most of us give our current location for granted thanks to the success of Satellite Navigation infrastructure, but PNT is much more: from synchronisation of mobile telecommunications networks, to ensuring the correct operation of cloud-based systems; from performing everyday financial transactions to enabling the cars of future; from finding the way inside a building to avoiding in-orbit satellite collisions; PNT is everywhere. It represents an opportunity for European industry to increase its value in a world becoming more competitive than ever.

In this context, the Belgian Science Policy Office (BELSPO), and the European Space Agency (ESA) are pleased to invite you to the National Positioning, Navigation and Timing (PNT) Workshop, hosted by the Belgian Science Policy Office. Aimed at fostering collaboration and in-depth technical discussions on PNT solutions, this workshop will explore the current PNT landscape and opportunities presented by the Navigation Innovation and Support Programme (NAVISP), ESA's programme on PNT innovation and competitiveness.

This workshop will focus on in-depth technical discussions and strategic collaboration. It will explore the details and execution of the NAVISP Programme alongside the strengths and priorities of the Belgian PNT ecosystem.

The event will further encourage cross-sector collaboration with industry leaders, showcase real-world NAVISP implementations, and offer personalized consultations with ESA and Belgian representatives to address individual pursuits within the PNT technology landscape.
