DANGO-Danish National Galileo Overlay

Register for the Final Presentation of the NAVISP EL3-008 Project “DANGO (Danish National Galileo Overlay)” 

The overall objective of the DANGO project is to provide positioning in the Danish national reference frame (ETRS89DK), while utilizing the Galileo PNT services, specifically the Galileo High Accuracy Service (HAS). This includes providing a direct, one-step transformation from the Galileo Terrestrial Reference Frame (GTRS) into ETRS89DK, which is achieved through determination of Helmert transformation parameters. The parameters were calculated based on the positioning data collected by three continuously operating reference stations (CORS), which were established at DTU and AAU university campuses as part of the DANGO project. The performance of the system was evaluated based on the residuals from the national CORS, as well as in-situ tests which utilized the DANGO system together with the HAS service.

The project was part of NAVISP Element 3, aiming to support national PNT strategies by providing support per country and possibly per domain for the development and promotion of products, applications and services based on PNT systems to foster national and international cooperation.
