VESTA (UAV-powEred and cyber-Safe smarT roAds) is an enabling item for real-time traffic monitoring and decision-making in Smart Road environments. This context poses additional technological challenges and constraints since in such environment the need has arisen for a system that is totally reliable, robust, and continuous. Specifically, the VESTA product aims to foster the transition from traditional traffic monitoring methods to digital processes, in order to enhance the activities related to the control of road traffic. The adaption of VESTA system can allow the end users to be supported in their current activities through the provision of a wide set of GNSS-enabled services, meeting their needs in the activity of traffic monitoring and management of decisions. VESTA services can be provided through the VESTA Cyber-Resilience Core (CRC) which ensures the correct level of data and information protection that adds a high level of cyber security to the entire platform.
