Final Presentation NAVISP EL1-044 “Hollow Corner Cube Retroreflector for in-orbit PNT”

The final presentation of the activity Hollow Corner Cube for In-Orbit PNT (NAVISP-EL1-044), carried out by INFN (Italy) as prime and Media Lario (Italy) as subcontractor, will summarize the results of this activity. The goal of the project was to develop a hollow corner cube, a corner cube that consists of 3 mirrors, that would be suitable for mounting on the outside of a spacecraft for PNT (positioning, navigation and timing) purposes and to investigate its mass saving potential over conventional solid glass corner cubes. The presentation will outline the steps taken during the development of this corner cube and present the results of a dedicated environmental test campaign.
