Final Presentation NAVISP EL2-156 "Navigation for Future Mobility"

The final presentation of the Nav4FutureMobility (N4FM) project, conducted under ESA’s NAVISP-EL2-156 by DiMOS Operations GmbH as prime contractor, with ANavS GmbH and OTH Regensburg as subcontractors, will showcase the outcomes of this initiative. The project addressed the navigation challenges of SAE-Level 4 automated driving in compliance with Germany’s Act on Autonomous Driving (§AFGBV), by developing a prototype Technical Supervision Service. This system enables real-time monitoring of positioning performance using GNSS and simulated LEO-PNT data, combined with cybersecurity monitoring. The presentation will cover the integration of N4FM modules within the developed mobility data center, results from the field measurement campaign, and insights into the feasibility of remote supervision for highly automated mobility in public transport and logistics. Participants will gain an understanding of the technical approach, the demonstrated performance, and the system’s relevance to emerging EU-level autonomous driving regulations.
