Final Presentation NAVISP EL2-094 "Disruptive High Efficiency Power Supply for Active Antennas"

The final presentation of the High Efficiency Power Supply for Active Antennas. This activity, developed by Airbus Crisa under ESA’s NAVISP-EL2-094 project, will summarize the outcomes of this development.

The project is focused on developing a digitally controlled Antenna Power Regulator (APR) module based on GaN technology for active antennas. This development enables a relevant mass and volume reduction with respect to current state-of-the-art solutions, so that leading to a more competitive solution due to the increase in power density.

The presentation will detail the current APR architecture, its capabilities and design constraints and the test bench results of the final EM design.
