Final Presentation NAVISP EL1-081bis "Lithium Niobate Photonic Integrated Circuit based High Speed, Low Voltage Modulators for Microwave Photonics"

In the final presentation of "High-Speed Electric-Optic Modulation with Lithium Niobate on a Silicon Photonic Platform" (LEO) we will discuss the final results of the project. We will discuss the progress on the integration of Lithium Niobate on iSipp200 silicon photonics platform of imec. This project has been a seed on which a larger project has been built to scale the heterogeneous integration of these components to the wafer level. We will discuss the development of the Process Design Kit (PDK) as well as the results of the subsequently fabricated modulators. Here, we demonstrate modulators at 1310 nm and 1550 nm. We show wafer level statistics of these structures as well as some preliminary reliability tests.
