The final presentation of the “GNSS BeiDou Implementation in GNSS Space Receiver” activity, led by Safran Data Systems under ESA’s NAVISP Element 2, will summarize how the spaceborne N‑SPHERE GNSS receiver has been upgraded to process BeiDou B1C and B3I signals in addition to GPS and Galileo. The project has demonstrated precise onboard orbit determination (P2OD) in LEO using multi‑frequency, multi‑constellation measurements, achieving sub‑meter 3D position accuracy, sub-centimetre‑per‑second velocity accuracy, and nanosecond‑level timing, with no regression versus the existing N‑SPHERE baseline.
