The activity enabled Taoglas to successfully develop four products offerings that fit with the demands of the IoT markets for Asset tracking, System Monitoring, Rapid development and Connected indoor sensing. 

The Final Presentation outlines the work done in developing a range of ultra-low power products with multiple on-board sensors and integrated GNSS, cellular and Bluetooth connectivity for asset and fleet monitoring applications, from micro-mobility vehicles, such as e-bikes, scooters and ground robotics to heavy transport vehicles. 
The 4 EDGE Connect™ products variants developed are:

1. With switchable antenna: a cost-down solution with no compromise on functionality.
2. Micro: a small form factor system-on-module option. 
3. Rugged: a derivative of the Micro housed in a rugged IP rated casing for use in outdoor environments.
4. Industrial: a cost-down Industrial gateway that uses a similar architecture to the Micro, but with an industrial housing.

The development process followed clearly defined steps with a thorough validation plan, with "bronze" prototypes produced in the technology phase and "silver" prototypes produced in the product phase. Final validation was done in close connection with current and future customers through the execution of a Pilot Test.
