FINAL PRESENTATION ON 16/02/2022! NAVISP INDUSTRY DEVELOPS SIGNAL SIMULATOR WITH MOST RECENT GALILEO SIGNAL ADVANCES. PLEASE REGISTER FOR THE WEBINAR EL2-061 "GNSS SIGNAL TRANSMITTER EXTENSION FOR SCALABLE SIGNAL GENERATION (STX2G)"

Start date: 16/02/2022 10:00

End date: 16/02/2022 11:30

The goal of the NAVISP Element 2 project “GNSS Signal Transmitter Extension for Scalable Signal Generation” (STX2G), is to develop an industrial prototype of a multi-GNSS multi-frequency constellation simulator, offering the latest Galileo FOC INAV message improvements on E1B OS signal (Reed Solomon Forward Error Correction, Secondary Synchronisation Pattern and Reduced Clock and Ephemeris Data), offering faster Time-to-First-Fix and increased robustness of data demodulation under degraded signal conditions.

Driven by the increased request for security of navigation, this constellation simulator is also enhanced with the capability to generate the E1B OS Navigation Message Authentication (OS-NMA) information.

Finally, as the need for cost-efficient global high-precision capability is increasing with the rise of automated and autonomous vehicles in the coming decade, the need to simulate and generate Galileo E6B High Accuracy Service signal is also covered.

NAVISP Element 2 is dedicated to increase the competiveness of the European industry in the wide PNT sector.
