NAVISP INDUSTRY DEVELOPS INNOVATIVE ATOMIC CLOCKS. PLEASE REGISTER FOR THE WEBINAR NAVISP-EL1-032 BIS "ADVANCED CONCEPT FOR CHIP-SCALE ATOMIC CLOCKS"

Start date: 04/02/2022 14:00

End date: 04/02/2022 15:30

FINAL PRESENTATION ON 04/02/2022! Interest in compact and low-power consumption atomic clocks (CSAC) has increased over the last years in a number of PNT-related applications (long coherent tracking, hold-over, high sensitivity receivers...).

CSEM has proposed an innovative approach based on two-photon interrogation in a Rubidium vapour cell. This new concept has been defined, and a breadboard of the atomic resonator has been designed, manufactured, integrated and tested in a clock configuration. Results of this test on a prototype are compliant with the timing requirements. In parallel, the implementation of key functions of the clock in Photonic Integrated Circuits (PICs) has been prototyped and tested.

NAVISP Element 1 is dedicated to innovation of the European industry in the wide PNT sector.
