The data campaign collection started on 17/03/22 by the consortium which developed the CAMALIOT App (developed under the NAVSIP Element 1 project "Application of Machine Learning Technology for GNSS IoT Data Fusion", EL1-038) is going very well, with over 47 billions measurements sourced from more than 11 thousands contributors. As the data campaign continues until the end of July, download the CAMALIOT app, turn your phone into a space monitoring tool and experience the fun of climbing to the top of the contributor's leaderboard!
Crowdsourced GNSS Big Data repositories offer a unique opportunity to apply innovative machine learning techniques to characterize multiple error sources, and to identify singularities and correlations. The data collected in this campaign will be available in the near future on the GSSC portal.
The consortium working on this NAVISP Element 1 project is led by ETH Zurich. The EL1-038 CAMALIOT project is funded by NAVISP Element 1 and aims to develop a smartphone application for weather monitoring based on collaborative crowdsourcing to create new weather prediction models for Earth and space.
NAVISP Element 1 is dedicated to European industry technology innovation in the wide PNT sector.
