NAVISP Element 1 Workplan 2022 presented to Norwegian PNT ecosystem

On February the 17th, the NAVISP Programme was presented to the Norwegian Position, Navigation and Timing ecosystem in a virtual workshop organised jointly by the Norwegian Space Agency and ESA, in particular to highlight the opportunities of the NAVISP Element 1 Workplan 2022. 

The workshop was attended by around 20 people from different Norwegian organisations, and the Norwegian Space Agency took the opportunity to relay to NAVISP representatives the appreciation of industry for the work done together, highlighting, among others, the flexibility of NAVISP's elements to stimulate innovation, improve competitiveness and support national strategic objectives, the focus on efficient contracting procedures and the favourable handling of industry's Intellectual Property Rights.

A follow up workshop is planned in June, possibly in Trondheim at the site of the Test Area for Autonomous Ships developed with the support of NAVISP.
