Successful NAVISP Workshop in Austria

On May 10, the Austrian Research Promotion Agency (FFG), responsible for national funding of business-related research and development, organized a hybrid information event on ESA's NAVISP programme hosted at the premises of the European Space Policy Institute in downtown Vienna.
The aim of the event was to present the preparation of Phase 3 of NAVISP towards the Ministerial Conference and to inspire the Austrian PNT ecosystem.

An introductory part was dedicated to mobility, a sector where satellite technologies and specifically navigation have a fundamental role to unveil the market, a series of NAVISP success stories was then shared to illustrate the opportunities of the Programme.
The presentation of the Invitations to Tender to be issued in the next future under Element 1 concluded the morning session while the afternoon was dedicated to B2B meetings.

More than 20 participants followed the event and took the opportunity to have bilateral discussions with the ESA programme representatives and learn about the different ways to get involved.
