The project will develop an advanced GNSS receiver combined with an external clock that fulfils the requirements of ITU’s ePRTC standard. The main requirements of ePRTC are a maximum time error of 30 ns in locked mode (i.e., when using GNSS signals in nominal conditions), and a maximum time error of 100 ns after 14 days in holdover mode (i.e., after a total loss of GNSS signals).
