NavIN: Indoor Navigation System Study project shall be a Feasibility Study with the aim to analyze the potential of utilization of GNSS technologies (combination of GPS and Galileo) in synergy with network technologies and Building Information Modelling, therefore to assess the feasibility and potential of a solution that would allow navigation indoors using ordinary devices with GPS and Galileo (tablets, mobile phones) with intelligent and reliable 3D model as a base map (Building Information Modelling or Building Information Management, BIM), enhanced by the Augmented Reality and other potential UX/UI functionalities. Positioning system utilizing GNSS and functioning indoors may bring countless benefits, enhance the market and strengthen the national operations, public safety and well-being.
