The objective of the project is to focus on and implement existing time transfer data protocols (NTP, NTS...) and the feasibility of their integration in existing constellations.

The scope is to study the overlay of data time transfer protocols (“Data TT”) onto satellite communication protocols. However, the perspective to study 5G NTN frames (“5G TT”) is not left out. The proposed approach is to first assess the feasibility of “Data TT” Option, with the following structure for the project: 
1fst month: Theoretical analysis on expected performance / testbed experimentation feasibility for both concepts 
End of 1st month: we decide whether to realize the “Data TT” vision or the “5G TT” vision for the rest of the project and the testbed experimentation
