Main goal of the FAIR project is the demonstration in a real environment of a prototype for the mitigation of scintillation and multipath effects on GNSS positioning. The prototype is enabled by a scintillation Forecasting Model, patented by SpacEarth Technology and by algorithms for multipath mitigation patented by GTER. The prototype includes: - an Elaborating Facility, performing the forecasting of scintillation parameters. - a GNSS RX powered with a GNSS processing SW supporting scintillation and multipath mitigation algorithms. The mitigation capabilities will be tested in an operational scenario related to digital farming in Brazil along many months, to get the information for the engineering of the prototype to move towards commercial exploitation.
