188 - From virtual to real: a complete software engineering workbench for the test and measurement of GNSS modules

This project aims to develop a novel white-box GNSS receiver with a unique capability: achieving faster-than-real-time operation. This innovation will significantly accelerate development and testing cycles. The project will leverage the high-throughput capabilities of an AMD/Xilinx Versal board to realize this functionality.

Furthermore, the project will culminate in the creation of a comprehensive test plan. This plan will meticulously evaluate the receiver's performance, focusing on key metrics such as positioning accuracy and the achieved processing speed improvements.

The resulting "SpaceStudio GNSS workbench" will offer a versatile platform. It will allow designers to customize the white-box GNSS receiver to their specific requirements while maintaining the capability for automated playback of GNSS test scenarios. This innovative workbench has the potential to significantly streamline development workflows and reduce testing time for future GNSS projects.
