In the context of the intensified jamming and spoofing activities, mitigation measures need to be employed to protect civilian users from the negative effects of interference. In line with the efforts of providing better solutions for resistance to interference, the ECHO-NN project proposes the enhancement of classical interference detection and localization algorithms with artificial intelligence. ECHO-NN is a follow-up of ECHO, a NAVISP Element 3 project in which a pilot network of seven GNSS monitoring and interference detection stations were developed and deployed at Romanian airports.
