The new Dynamic Optical Ranging & Timing (DORT) system opens up new possibilities for time and frequency transmission, especially in the NewSpace range. Due to its compactness and robustness, the system can be easily implemented in a CubeSat. In this project, the application of a satellite time bridge will be considered in particular. This is an alternative to realise (inter-)continental clock comparisons.
Within the scope of this project, a first technical model of DORT will be created under the conditions of a low Earth orbit mission scenario. Once the complete system has been built, the EM will be thermally tested under the specified environmental conditions. 
The result is a tested EM for precise time and frequency transmission within a CubeSat.
