The objective of this activity is to design a prototype deployable satellite navigation antenna in Ka band. A review into possible use cases for such an antenna on a small sat platform, to be used for navigation functions in combination with mega constellations shall be performed. A trade-off between different design solutions shall be performed, such as deployable helical or reflectors, and the most promising selected for further development. A final breadboard of the antenna will be manufactured and tested to demonstrate the reception of navigation signals with adequate code and carrier stability.
