This project aims to develop vehicular antennas for PNT and 5G/6G SatCom/Cellular applications, which are integrated into the glass roof of a car. Antennas will be designed, prototyped and benchmarked towards current state-of-the-art. By using transparent (or hidden) glass integrated vehicular antenna systems, Volvo Cars not only improves car design and carbon footprint, but also strengthens navigation systems for driver assistance and self-driving, all in all making the cars safer and more sustainable.
