The NAVISP Geodesy-Enabled Applications project builds on the advancements expected from the ESA Genesis mission, which enhances geodetic reference frame accuracy and interoperability. The project’s tasks include analysing trends, engaging stakeholders, and identifying key innovations to drive the adoption of high-accuracy positioning services. By improving Precise Orbit Determination (POD) and reference frame alignment, it aims to enable a new generation of geodesy-enabled applications across various industries, such as autonomous systems, urban planning, and precision agriculture. This aligns with ESA’s broader strategy to promote downstream applications and strengthen European technological sovereignty.
