294 - EULERIAN
Status: On Going
Activity Code: NAVISP-EL2-294
Start date: 01/11/2025
Duration: 36 Months
The EULERIAN project aims to demonstrate a flexible RF front-end and digitizer unit that will simplify the activities of designers and developers of LEO PNT receivers. User of the EULERIAN platform will be able to process in real-time a variety of Signals-of-Opportunity (SoOP) from several LEO constellations.
The solution will be based on cutting edge highly integrated ASICs, implementing radio frequency (RF) synthesizers with digital signal processing functions, that allow a versatile combination of high-performance processing, high data rate communications and high integration level.
The EULERIAN platform will be easily customizable to specific signals and bands of LEO satellite systems, spanning from legacy missions that provide telecom, Earth observation and other space heritage from UHF, L, S, C-band, to the new era of mega-constellations, networks of thousands of small satellites working together to provide seamless global coverage operating in the Ku/Ka-band.
In order to facilitate and improve the activity of baseband and algorithm researchers and developers, EULERIAN will offer a high-performance data interface and control module designed specifically for FPGA implementation, where customers can integrate their baseband processing modules, leading to a complete LEO PNT receiver unit.
