New applications and demand for increased performance of PNT technologies, independent from GNSS and less vulnerable, for serving next generation terrestrial and space applications (including Moving beyond Earth) are driving the PNT market.

That requires new test technologies able to perform modulated signal generation and analysis on multiple RF/microwave channels with a tight phase and amplitude alignment.

In this project the Emerson NI Hungary team, leveraging the PXle platform and Vector Signal Transceiver (VST) components, will develop a 16chs RX/TX system up to 26.5GHz and up to 2GHz IBW, with the capabilities of: record and playback; generation of complex electromagnetic environment in PNT and Signals Analysis. ESA ESTEC will support the project during the validation phases.
