Global Navigation Satellite Systems like Galileo and GPS are the backbone for position and timing in many industries today. For development and verification of GNSS chipsets GNSS signal simulators are widely used. The currently existing Rohde & Schwarz GNSS simulators are well accepted by customers nonetheless with evolving requirements and upcoming technical improvements in the field of GNSS new solutions for high accurate and cost-effective signal simulation are needed.
In this project Rohde & Schwarz will design the fundamental components of the next generation R&S GNSS signal simulators. Focus is given to a cost-effective yet flexible base design.
