High Accuracy Assistance Service (HAAS) is a high-precision, cloud-based corrections service. It contains highly accurate corrections for orbits, clocks, ionospheric and tropospheric delays. These corrections are delivered over terrestrial means via the same high availability infrastructure already supporting over a billion devices each day. The use of HAAS will enable horizontal position accuracy of ~50 cm with code phase-based positioning and ~20 cm with carrier phase-based positioning on receivers with external antenna in open sky conditions. 

HAAS will present new market and customer opportunities for Rx Networks, and the reference network and infrastructure improvements required for HAAS service will also serve to improve and increase the viability of existing location.io products into the future.
