"Founded in Cambridge in 2009 Omnisense has developed an enabling technology where devices form peer-to-peer mesh networks which determine relative positions and velocities using radio signals without pre-installed infrastructure. The Series 500 product family brings together true high-accuracy Time of Arrival (ToA) radio positioning with inertial sensors, mesh networking and the advanced Omnisense Timing and Location Engine to deliver high quality position information to applications using standards based APIs. Developed using in-house IPR and know-how, the techniques are frequency and radio agnostic. The system is based around a simple architecture which is more flexible, lower cost, and easier to deploy than comparative technologies.
