Aveillant is a technology company based in Cambridge, England specialising in Holographic Radar which is fundamentally different to traditional radar systems that scan an area of interest. Holographic radar continuously stares an entire coverage volume to give 100% dwell time on each target. This allows small, slow targets (such as drones) that would otherwise not be detected to be accurately tracked in real time at a rapid update rate. In recent years the core technology has been focused towards drone detection (counter drone protection), wind farm mitigation (air traffic control) and unmanned traffic management markets. Aveillant mission is to move radar technology into the information age by powering a full digital picture of the sky.
