NCSRD-IIT has significant expertise on antenna design and characterization through commercial electromagnetic simulators and measurements in its own Anechoic Chamber. Regarding electromagnetic simulators, licences for CST Microwave Studio and ANSYS HFSS are available. Τhe following infrastructure and equipment will be available:

-RF shielded Fully Anechoic Chamber properly equipped for antenna characterization far field measurements (with 5m measuring distance) with Roll-over-Azimuth antenna positioner.
-E & H near field probes
-Electromagnetic Radiation Meter (E-field, 10MHz-18GHz) and (H-field 27MHz - 1GHz)
- Various auxiliary equipment (amplifiers generators, spectrum analysers etc.)
