Muon Solutions is a Finnish deep-tech SME specialising in galactic cosmic ray–based sensing technologies and the development of the Muometric Positioning System (MuPS). The company translates fundamental particle physics into robust positioning solutions for environments where conventional satellite-based navigation is unavailable or unreliable. Muon Solutions designs and engineers detector systems, reference-based positioning architectures and data-processing solutions that utilise naturally occurring cosmic muons to enable positioning without external signal transmission and with inherent immunity to practically all interference, including that of radio frequency. In addition to positioning, Muon Solutions develops muon-based imaging solutions for structural inspection and subsurface characterisation, supporting applications in mining, critical infrastructure, research, and space-related environments.
