University College London

UCL is consistently placed within the top 10 of the QS World University Rankings. The Space Geodesy and Navigation Laboratory within UCL Engineering has a track record of innovation in resilient positioning technology, including 3D-mapping-aided GNSS, signals of opportunity, environmental feature matching, inertial navigation and multisensor integrated navigation spanning many different application domains. Through UCL Consultants (UCLC), Dr Paul Groves of UCL will provide technical advice on the capabilities, error characteristics of dissimilar PNT technologies and ways of integrating them together under work packages 3 and 4, contributing to the deliverable reports as needed. Dr Paul Groves is an Associate Professor at University College London (UCL) where he leads a program of research into robust positioning and navigation. He is author of the book Principles of GNSS, Inertial and Multi-Sensor Integrated Navigation Systems, an associated editor of NAVIGATION, and the recipient of the 2016 ION Thurlow Award.
