Fleetrange is an innovative Finnish maritime IT-startup with the mission to intelligently connect fleets and people with data, regardless of time, place, or device. Fleetrange solutions are firmly based on cost-efficient, simple, and visual real-time operational awareness. The company’s current customer-base consists North European ship owners and operators and public references are Meriaura Ltd (meriaura.fi), Tallink Group (tallink.com) and Containerships plc (containerships.fi). Fleetrange IoT-units, which the company has developed by themselves in the absence of suitable COTS-products, have been successfully tested on various types of ships (cargo, passenger ferry, expedition cruiser, RoRo) in the Baltic Sea, North Sea and even globally from the 80th Latitude in the Arctic to the southernmost parts of the Antarctic waters. The company has currently 15 units deployed commercially with another 10 on various trials. Fleetrange is currently also one of the very few suppliers of BOQA (Bridge Operations Quality Assurance) solutions, which are believed to become a global standard in the near future.
