PNT – Positionierung, Navigation und Zeitgebung – sind Schlüsseltechnologien, die in einer Vielzahl von Sektoren eine entscheidende Rolle spielen. Sie ermöglichen präzise Standortbestimmungen, zeitliche Synchronisation und Navigation, die für Anwendungen wie intelligente Infrastruktur, Industrie 4.0, präzise Landwirtschaft, die Energieversorgung oder das Finanzwesen unerlässlich sind. Dennoch stellen Herausforderungen wie Signalabschirmung in städtischen Gebieten sowie absichtliche Störungen durch Jamming (Störsignale) und Spoofing (Manipulation von PNT-Signalen) eine ernsthafte Bedrohung für die Zuverlässigkeit und Sicherheit dieser Technologien dar.

Das Programm des Workshops beinhaltet:

• Vorstellung des NAVISP-Programms, inkl. Teilnahmemodalitäten, Arbeitsplänen, laufenden Ausschreibungen
• Überblick zu NAVISP in Deutschland – PNT ein wachsender Sektor
• Direkter Austausch mit Expertinnen und Experten aus dem Bereich und der Europäischen Weltraumagentur ESA
• Möglichkeit, sich ein aktuelles Bild vom Stand der Technologien und Dienste zu machen
• Gezielte bilaterale Gespräche mit ESA-Expertinnen und Experten zu konkreten Projektideen im NAVISP-Programm führen

Am Vormittag wird das PNT-Ökosystem in Deutschland ausführlich vorgestellt, wobei sowohl die aktuellen Strukturen und Akteure als auch die neuesten Entwicklungen in diesem wichtigen Bereich beleuchtet werden. Zudem wird das NAVISP-Programm detailliert präsentiert, das eine entscheidende Rolle bei der Förderung von Innovationen und der Weiterentwicklung von PNT-Technologien in Deutschland spielt. Der Nachmittag ist geprägt von Präsentationen aus der Industrie und Forschung, die verschiedene Entwicklungen im Bereich PNT hervorheben. Das Event bietet zudem zahlreiche Networking-Möglichkeiten während der Pausen und des gemeinsamen Mittagessens. Am Ende des Nachmittags haben Unternehmen die Gelegenheit, sich für individuelle 1-zu-1-Sessions anzumelden.

They enable precise location determination, time synchronization, and navigation, which are essential for applications such as smart infrastructure, Industry 4.0, precision agriculture, energy supply, and the financial sector. However, challenges such as signal obstruction in urban environments and deliberate interference through jamming and spoofing pose serious threats to the reliability and safety of these technologies.

The workshop program includes:

• Introduction to the NAVISP programme, including participation details, work plans, and current calls for proposals
• Overview of NAVISP in Germany – PNT as a growing sector
• Direct exchange with experts in the field and from the European Space Agency (ESA)
• Opportunity to get a current overview of technologies and services
• Targeted one-on-one meetings with ESA experts to discuss specific project ideas within the NAVISP programme

In the morning, the PNT ecosystem in Germany will be extensively presented, including current structures, key players, and the latest developments in this important field. Additionally, the NAVISP programme will be explained in detail, highlighting its vital role in promoting innovation and advancing PNT technologies in Germany.

The afternoon will feature presentations from industry and research institutions showcasing various developments in the PNT domain. The event also offers numerous networking opportunities during breaks and the joint lunch. At the end of the afternoon, companies will have the chance to register for individual one-on-one sessions.
