The activity is a development and qualification of a Compact Versatile SBAS down converter, for use in GEO and MEO Satellites distributing augmentation data for more accurate positioning.
Satellite Based Augmentation Systems have regional systems like EGNOS in Europe, WAAS in the US, MSAS in Japan and so on. Such functions have been embarked on multiple satellites of the last decades, and will continue to be so also in the future.

The development will bring to the market a SBAS down converter unit characterized by:
- a highly integrated and compact design
- yet still flexible and versatile,
-designed to meet a numerous of variants wrt. uplink band and frequency plan, output frequency, and platform interfaces.
