Kongsberg Defence and Aerospace’s Program Area “Space Electronics” is a supplier of components and equipment to the international space industry, specialised in analogue and microwave electronics for satellites and signal interface electronics for launchers.
KDA Space Electronics (KSE) traces its roots back to the start-up of space activities in the company AME in 1984, and is now a Program Area within KDA’s of Space and Surveillance Business Area. Over its 35+ years of operation KSE and its predecessors have supplied electronics, including 17 000 SAW devices and 24 000 microelectronic circuits, to more than 270 satellites, to customers all over the world. KSE offers products and building blocks related to analogue signal processing such as SAW filters and modules, filter banks, frequency converters, switch matrices, interconnect-processors, frequency generation and TT&C equipment.
