High-quality maintenance and repair of road infrastructure is a necessary condition for the development of a modern society. This project, which deals with the issue of 3D milling according to the principles of Industry 4.0 and the fulfilment of the challenges of the "green deal", faces the following challenges in particular:

• Minimizing or completely eliminating the preparatory part of the repair (3D data acquisition and 3D modeling)
• Simplifying the entire process through robotization and automation
• To ensure efficient recycling of building materials and thus meet the Euro standard EN 13108-8:2005.

The product under development solves all these challenges with a single device mounted on the milling machine that uses GNSS, communicates with the milling machine and the computing server on which specialized calculations are performed.
