A Shield Nanosatellite is an innovative and challenging idea that requires the integration of a wide array of technologies. OLAF leverages our company’s background experience and that of our partners in the areas touching with the main objectives of the tender. The main purpose of the mission is to use a space system for passively protecting space assets from space debris (and possibly micrometeoroids).  In order to understand how this mission may bring benefits to the different users of space technologies, it is important to firstly identify these users and the relevant current and future space assets.
